Dell corrupts administrator password

I figured out why I cannot log into recovery mode on this Dell computer that I am trying to repair. Apparently, dell uses sysprep for their installations and it corrupts the administrator password. So now I have to figure out how to reset the administrator password without actually being able to log into Windows XP Home...or the dos prompt for that matter.
